What’s life without a couple of challenges and bumps in the road? A straight, motionless life.
Those little (or huge) snags we come across in our life serve as an opportunity; a chance to view or do things differently, a chance to let go, a chance to identify what still needs work and what lessons are still being taught to you.
I know sometimes it’s easier said than done, but this is something I truly and mindfully practice myself: find the lesson in every challenge. I don’t effortlessly do so all the time. It take lots of courage and will to charge head on against fears, patterns, expectations or difficult and unnerving circumstances.
You’ve done it more times than you can probably remember. You’ve faced challenges before and grown exponentially from them, all your life, today is no different. What did you get through as a child that you thought you never would? How about as an adult? What has been the toughest thing you’ve had to go through?
Keep your focus on what you want in your life and adjust your actions towards that. Remember how strong you already are and let yourself feel happy about how far you’ve come. Bring your focus to what needs to be done for the outcome you desire. Someday, you’ll look back on today just like you’ve looked through past challenges and feel even stronger than you do now.
