I’m bringing the message of the day/week from the Self-care Oracle today and this one I’m so excited about.

Whenever we hear the word “art” it usually takes us to painting or drawing, in my case that’s where my mind goes. Even though I know that art is something much more profound and complex. Art can be any expression of the self through something that delights any sense; food can be art, painting is art, dancing is art, music is art, and so so so many more things are art to me.

This week were being called to express ourselves and channel energy through some form of art, it doesnt matter what this means for you, it can mean anything to you personally. It could be doodling in a notebook, crafting a cake masterpiece, singing, writing, anything that allows you to communicate or express something. It’s like taking ideas and notions from the ether and materializing them on this plane.

I personally used to LOVE making figurines with molding clay and it’s something I would definitely like to go back to. Don’t be afraid to try something new; a new form, new technique, new ideas that make you break routine and bring in a little joy and fun.

Whatever you make or create, it will be your own little masterpiece.

This week we might need a little support system and some time to blow off steam, maybe catch up with friends we haven't talked to in a while or just spend time with friends or loved ones to recharge and renew.

This is the card that came up for this week's Self-care message.

I know one of the hardest things about 2020 has been the limited time or quality time we've been able to spend with friends or loved ones who don't live with us. However, there are still ways we can stay connected and support each other through tough or turbulent times even if there are still limitations or restrictions. There are different approaches se can take on being there for people and allowing others to be there for us.

This year has had us focusing a lot on ourselves, going inward and doing much needed internal work, but that doesn't mean that our social being has to stay completely isolated as we are still social beings who need interaction and care.

So this week, reach out. Have some fun talks or do some fun activities with friends if you can. It might lift off some of the density that we may still be carrying from the year and its processes.

#selfcare message of the week is in and I personally love this practice.

This week we're being guided to warm ourselves up and connect with the many many benefits of plants and flowers in teas. It's amazing how they have the ability to help us relax, focus, be more energized, regulate digestion among many other benefits.

And, also, there's something so comforting in sitting down, taking a break and just enjoying one cup of tea. Alone time, nurturing and just warming us up.

I wanted to share my favorite combinations and purposes of some of my favorite herbs/flowers/teas.

Go with what resonates for you and if you're not quite the tea fan, you can choose golden milk or any other warm, comforting drink that works for you!

For energizing and a little perk up: Peppermint, lemongrass or ginger.

For relaxing and de-stressing: Lavender, chamomile or valerian.

Other of my faves include hibiscus and green tea.

Hello everyone!

I seem to have disappeared for a few days but if there’s something I've learned is we have to take time off and get some alone time when the need arises.

I'm sure everyone has had to go through their own experiences and obstacles in the past week and I myself am not exempt from the collective energy. But I am here. Showing up as best I can.

Today's card, ironically enough, speaks about this pause. It's a reminder for us all to take a breather today and take a break from the race we sometimes join in.

If you're body is asking for a little more rest today, take it. Even if it's just 5 minute breaks in between work, or a nap, or a bath. Whatever allows you to unwind and slow down.

Taking a break doesn't mean you're failing, falling behind or delaying. It just means that you are aware of your own cycles and can replenish energy. A car doesn't run on an empty tank and neither do we.

Full up your own well today. You can be your own productive self while still taking time to nurture your energy and body.

We’re starting a new week and the shifts can really be felt, still. Changing and interconnected energies flow through us like rivers go through rocks.

This week, the energy that surrounds us is that of The Devil card. We need not fear this energy as it is not inherently evil, as it may appear.

What I strongly feel is that this week, we may be coming face to face with things that might scare us. Our fears might be coming to the frontlines to be seen, heard and recognized. This energy to me also speaks of attachment and limitations.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re being triggered this week, in more ways than one so it’s really important to keep our being open to what we might be seeing. If a plan falls through, what does it spark within? trust? fear? uncertainty?

This is a very good week to do some personal shadow work. Why? because a lot of answers will be revealed behind those triggers and emotions. If there are any limiting beliefs that have come with us so far, now is the time to really pay attention to them so we may do the work it takes to reprogram them. If we’ve been having blocks or feeling stagnant in one or more areas of our life, this could shed a light on why we ourselves might be very in our way. If there’s behaviors that were created due to past trauma or pain, they may resurface to we finally understand that we are not our past. Unhealthy attachments to people, emotions, thought patterns, situations or other could be a theme too, I know personally, It’s a little overwhelming to see so much.

Letting go of preconceived ideas and expectations would not be uncommon either with this energy present. Anything that keeps us bound and chained can be seen right now. It’s probably not a week-long process to finally let it go, but this week helps us to identify WHAT is actually keeping us small and constricted. This will give us a chance to see if we’re doing it to ourselves or if it’s something external that we’ve allowed to control us.

This week might be a little dense or intense, but we can come out stronger and wiser. Be patient with yourself.

We are used to separation, segregation, difference, competition, comparison and the way all of those things make us feel. What if instead of comparing ourselves with others, we celebrate what makes them unique as well as what makes US unique. Why do we have to make it about doing or being better off. Today is a good day to reflect on this and how our daily choices and mental state can affect beyond what we see. It’s time to focus on creating comunity instead of competition. We all have unique gifts and traits, opinions and perspectives that are our very own and every single individual on this Earth is important, valuable and has a part to play.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Recognizing the light and uniqueness is others is something that also helps us as individuals, it teaches us that we are all going through something, we’re all learning something, feeling something, all have dreams, fears and insecurities. So many times we shift and adapt to social norms, imposed beliefs or behaviors, ways of being, ways of doing, social programming or conditioning, perceptions of right and wrong and so many other things. Many of these things, at times, make us feel unworthy or shameful of our own essence, truth and path. It can make us uneasy and doubtful of ourselves.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

However, today we have an opportunity to shed some of those beliefs, programming or expectations others may have of us, maybe even some we truly believed for a moment. Light is being shed on your true nature, your calling, your soul’s desires. The soul has the wisdom of ages and it knows where it wants to lead us, but this must be by choice. Our soul cannot lead us by force to walk our path. It’s a subtle guide, a nudge, a tug in a particular direction.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Slow and steady is today's mantra from this card!

Commitment, determination, patience and effort is what today's energy brings. If you're not at all satisfied with something today, whether it be a task, an area or anything that comes to mind, know that it can be changed. Maybe not an abrupt and imminent change, but taking it little by little. A few changes and adjustments can go a long way today.

We have to be tenacious enough to want to see things through, regardless of how long it takes us to complete. That's the message from Buffalo energy and the Eight of Acorns.

Things are unfolding, visible or not visible. But if you want to take today as a sprint, you run the risk of overlooking important details or factors. So, that's why we have to take it slow and steady. Do you remember the story about the tortoise and the hare? well, the tortoise knew it would get to the finish line without rushing into any shortcuts or detours.

Find the strength and the will to know you can face whatever mountains you have in front of you today, take strong grounded steps, one step at a time and you'll see progress by the end of this day.

If you find yourself sluggish or lagging behind, you can ask yourself what you need to do so you can start with one single step. I know I've used this example here and there but this one I've learned from experience. If you look at the whole mountain before even starting the climb, you can feel overwhelmed and powerless. There's power in the small things as well, so when we focus our energy on what we can do (taking one single step at a time), we've gone far before we know it. Then it doesn't seem so daunting. You don't have to commit to absolutely everything at once. Even if you commit to one thing today and see it through, you'll feel that accomplishment.

The card that influences this week is The Hanged Man.

This week leaves us hanging (pun intended) and this is because there are still some things we need to review about our plans, our actions and reactions. There are still answers within, that need to be brought out to the surface and made aware of so they may be integrated into the plan.

Given that this week we are already feeling the pre-shadow for Mars retrograde, things will definitely be slowing down for the next couple of months (Mars goes direct until November 13th).

This is not a time to go full force into the world and develop our plans, but rather, to slow down a bit and reassess if we need to tweak a few things before we can move forward. We may have the impulse, the desire and the drive to go full steam ahead, but our efforts may come short. Now, this may happen because we feel we fall short, because external factors hold us back or setup some delays.

This may also be a time when we’re becoming very aware of how we act/react when things don’t go our way. Do we accept and adjust? Do we throw a fit and shut down? Are we using our personal power to create or destroy? Are we using our skills to feed our drive or to tear others down and compare? Are we doing things for ourselves or are we doing them to compete and feel better than others?

This energetic influence can also be used to observe if you’re been feeling stuck or stagnant in any area. If you notice the answer is yes to one or more areas of your life, try to find the answers as to why that is and what led you to a halt. Is there fear of moving forward? Is there a shift in perspective needed to get out of this rut? What could you do to get things moving, even if slowly, in the right direction?

All of these things may become more evident during this time but the answers that come up from dealing directly with these issues are what’s going to give us key answers we can use later on.

I know we've all had our fair share of challenges

I know we've all had our fair share of challenges and delays in the past, but today's energy is calling our attention to acknowledging those difficulties and objectively observing the growth that has come from them. Become aware of it and know that there is always room for improvement. We are always in a constant state of change.

If you've been feeling less than chipper, feeling a little low on energy or like things haven't been going as you had imagined, this card comes as a confirmation that new beginnings are afoot. There is no light without darkness and sometimes we've got to push through that threshold so we can rise up like a Phoenix. A lot of trials and tribulations we go through are there to teach us, mold us and make us more resilient for future things to come. Everything in life has its cycle and its divine timing.

Think about this for a second; if a toddler who has just started to walk wanted to learn to ride a bike, it's a very unlikely thing to happen. Why? Because they do not posess the proper structure and tools to do so. They need to strengthen, build and grow into it. So when we want everything we dream of right now, and the answer is no, it's really more likely that it's "not right now" because there are still things that have to come into place for that to happen. We build towards our life.

You are evolving and elevating, even if sometimes you don't feel it right away. New beginnings are available to you and you couldn't have done it without the road that led you here. You are being upgraded in both the material and spiritual plane.

Today's energy is really asking us to bask in what we have managed to achieve, not just this week, but in the past months. It's time to recognize and verbalize those achievements and wins you have under your belt.

Even if it's not verbally expressed to you, but you might feel a change in a circumstance and feel invigorated and victorious. Don't be shy to show your light! If you're good at something, own it, be it.

This could also signify for some that you might get some recognition or acknowledgement of a job well done in something.

Some days we can see ourselves and the external wo

Some days we can see ourselves and the external world in a much clearer way. However, with the smoky mirror we may not be able to, as usual.

It may take a little time today to have a clear vision on a circumstance. Not because the circumstance itself in unclear, but because our vision might be impaired. We must trust that sometimes we cannot rush the process, sometimes we have to wait it out, breathe while the fog clears.

This card may also signify for some, that some subconscious shifts are happening that you might not feel immediately but that will bring all the more clarity in coming days. Triggers may be arising from the depths of your subconscious too and will be visible. Instead of pushing them back into the darkness, recognize them and find out where they come from. Sometimes being able to see them lifts the fog that was there once before. You become much more aware.
